By Land  

  • St. Pete is easily accessible for motorists via I-275, the north-south Interstate that connects to I-75 in Tampa and re-connects to I-75 in Manatee County.
  • Two I-275 feeders serve the downtown St. Petersburg entertainment district. I-375 (Exit 22A) serves the north portion of downtown, including the popular Beach Drive restaurant row and Sundial entertainment complex. I-175 (Exit 22) serves the south side of downtown including the Mahaffey Theater, Dali Museum, USF St. Petersburg, Albert Whitted Airport and the medical complex.
  • Parking – There are more than 25,000 parking spaces downtown. Most street parking have meters which accepts coins or can be paid through the ParkMobile app. Public parking lots include Central Avenue Garage (South Core) with an entrance on First Ave. S. between Second and First Streets; Sundial Garage (Mid Core) with an entrance on Second Street N. between Second Ave.N. and First Ave. N.; Mahaffey Parking Lot, with an entrance on First Street S. at Fourth Ave. S.; Al Lang Parking Lot, with an entrance on First Ave. S. between Bayshore and Beach Drives; and the Beach Drive Parking Lot on The Pier Approach, with free shuttle service to the popular Beach Drive restaurants.
  • Downtown Looper – Provides motorized trolley service to all downtown hotels and attractions for just 50 cents each time you board, with service every 15 minutes. Enjoy a colorful commentary and complimentary city tour aboard each trolley.
  • Central Avenue Trolley – Connects with the Downtown Looper and transports passengers to the Edge and Grand Central Districts, as well as the Beaches. Connects at Sundial, the Pier Parking Lots, and Williams Park.
